1. The William & Patricia Venton Centre – Age UK Northamptonshire
What they offer: This is a purpose-built day centre for older people located at York Road, Northampton. The day runs from approximately 10 am–3 pm, includes a freshly prepared two-course lunch, tea/coffee/refreshments, and a range of activities (exercise, crafts, reminiscence groups, games, outings) in a safe and supportive environment.
Who it’s for: Older adults (65+ and older) who are reasonably mobile, want social interaction, companionship and structured activity in a group setting. It also caters for people with physical impairment or early dementia needing a calm supportive environment.

2. Day Centre Kettering (Baptist Church Rooms) – Age UK Northamptonshire
What they offer: Another branch of the charity’s day-centres located at Baptist Church Rooms, Rockingham Road, Kettering. Open Monday to Friday 10 am-3 pm. Activities include crafts, reminiscence groups, games, bingo, outings; a calm environment for people with physical impairments or dementia.
Who it’s for: Older adults in and around Kettering who want friendship, stimulation and perhaps a degree of support. It explicitly caters for people living with dementia and physical disabilities in a “purposefully calm environment”.

3. Day Centre Towcester (Leeson Court) – Age UK Northamptonshire
What they offer: A smaller session-based day centre in Towcester (Leeson Court, Leeson Road). The service operates (as of info) Monday & Thursday 10 am-3 pm; includes hot lunch, refreshments, activities, and supportive staff.
Who it’s for: Older people living in or near Towcester who would benefit from social days out and need the structure and support, but perhaps don’t need daily attendance.

4. Affinity Day Care CIC
What they offer: A newer, more modern day-care service (Community Interest Company) with a strong focus on making each day fun, meaningful and inclusive. Based in Duston (St Luke’s Community Centre) and offering a specialist dementia-care unit (St James’ site). Activities include movement, themed weeks, garden visits, and full day sessions with transport, lunch and care.
Who it’s for: Older adults who may have higher dependency needs (including dementia), or those wanting a lively, engaging environment with specialist dementia support. Also useful for carers needing respite.

5. Chappell House Day Centre – Age UK Northamptonshire
What they offer: A part of Age UK Northamptonshire’s network of day-centres, offering older people “a safe, stimulating environment where they can take part in activities and meet friends.” Sessions run Mondays & Thursdays 10:00-15:00 and include a two-course hot meal, refreshments, structured group activities (eg crafts, games, reminiscence), and transport options for accessibility. The aim is to help older adults maintain independence, socialise, and access support during the day.
Who it’s for: Older adults living in or around Moulton (Northampton) who would benefit from a daytime group setting rather than being at home alone; Individuals who are reasonably mobile or have mild to moderate support needs (including early dementia or physical impairment) and can attend for part of the day; Carers looking for respite during daytime hours, knowing their loved one is in a supportive, social environment.
